การรันโปรแกรมรุ่นเก่าบน Windows 7

บน Windows 7 เอง มีปัญหาไม่ต่างจาก Windows XP และ Windows Vista เมื่อนำโปรแกรมสมัยก่อน ๆ มารัน ในที่นี่ผมขอยกตัวอย่างเกมส์คลาสสิค อย่าง Yuri วิธีการแก้ไขก็ไม่ยากครับ ง่ายมาก ๆ

1. คลิกขวาที่ Icon โปรแกรม + Properties

2. เลือกไปที่แถบ Compatibility ในช่อง Compatibility Mode ให้เลือกเป็น Windows 95 เลยครับ

วิธีการสร้างปุ่ม Show Desktop ไว้ใน Taskbar บน Windows 7

Windows 7 นั้นไม่ได้ติดตั้งปุ่ม Show Desktop มาให้แต่กำเนิด หากใครต้องการใช้งานจะต้องคลิกที่แท่งสี่เหลี่ยมว่าง ๆ ที่อยู่ใกล้นาฬิกา ซึ่งจะให้ผลลัพท์เหมือนกับการใช้งาน Show Desktop แต่สำหรับบางคนที่ไม่ถนัด ก็ไม่ใช่ว่าเราจะสร้างปุ่ม Show Desktop ขึ้นมาไม่ได้นะครับ ผมมีวิธีง่าย ๆ ที่จะสร้าง เอาไปใช้ได้ทั้งกับ Windows 2008, Windows 7 และ Windows Vista

นี่ล่ะครับปุ่ม Show Desktop ของ Windows 7

รู้ไว้ใช่ว่า: การนำ Icon มาไว้ใน Taskbar ของ Windows 7 นั้นเรียกว่า pin

วิธีการสร้าง Show Desktop Icon บน Windows 7, Windows 2008 และ Windows Vista

1) ก่อนอื่นก็คลิกขวาที่ Shortcut ตัวไหนก็ได้ที่ว่าง ๆ แล้วเลือกไปที่ Pin to Taskbar

2) ต่อมาเขียนคำสั่งข้างล่างนี้ ไว้ใน Notepad (เป็นคำสั่งเพื่อใช้ Show Desktop)

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

เวลา Save ให้เลือกเป็น All Files ตั้งชื่อไฟล์ว่า Desktop.scf

ให้ Save ไว้ใน C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

3) ต่อมาคลิกขวาตรง Icon ที่เราได้ Pin ไว้ Taskbar จากข้อแรก แล้วเลือกไปที่ Properties ในช่อง Target ให้ใส่ C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\Desktop.scf

** ตรง yourusername จะต้องแก้ไขเป็นชื่อที่เราใช้ Login อยู่ตอนนั้นนะครับ

5) ถ้าไม่รู้ว่า User Name เป็นอะไรให้คลิกที่ Start ตู้รูปจะเห็น User name อยู่ ตามตัวอย่างนี้เป็น win7

6) ใช้ได้แล้วครับตอนนี้ แต่มันยังไม่ครบถ้วนกระบวนความ เราไปเปลี่ยน icon กันก่อนดีกว่า เพื่อป้องกันความสับสน คลิกขวาที่ Icon ที่เรา Pin ไว้เมื่อตะกี๊ครับ ไปที่ Properties แล้วคลิกที่ปุ่ม Change Icon ซึ่งปกติแล้ว Icon ของ Windows จะเก็บไว้ที่ %SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll

7) แค่นี้ก็พร้อมจะใช้งานได้แล้วครับ สามารถมี Show Desktop Icon ใช้งานกันแล้ว

** อีกวิธีนึงง่าย ๆ สำหรับคนที่ไม่ชอบคลิก แต่ชอบใช้คีย์ลัด ให้กดปุ่ม Win+D ก็สามารถใช้งานได้เหมือนกัน (ปุ่ม Win เป็นปุ่มที่อยู่ข้าง ๆ Ctrl ที่เป็นรูป Windows อ่ะครับ) **

การ Resize Desktop Icon บน Windows 7

หากใครคิดว่า Icon พื้นฐานที่ Windows 7 มีมาให้นั้น ใหญ่เกินไป หรือว่าเล็กเกินไปสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงขนาดได้ง่าย ๆ

1. คลิกขวาที่ Desktop + View + ขนาดของ Icon (Large Icons, Medium Icons, Small Icons)

2. หากไม่พอใจขนาดที่ Windows มีมาให้อีกวิธีนึงก็คือ กด Ctrl ค้างไว้ แล้วก็เลื่อน Scroll Mouse เลือกขนาดเองได้ตามความพอใจ

Windows 7 กับปัญหาในการอ่านภาษาไทย

Windows 7 และ Windows Vista นั้นมาด้วยคุณสมบัติที่เรียกว่า Multilingual อยู่แล้ว ทำให้สามารถอ่านได้เกือบจะทุกภาษาทั่วโลก โดยแทบจะไม่ต้องปรับแต่งอะไรเลย แต่ทั้งนี้และทั้งนั้น ก็ยังไม่สามารถทำงานได้สมบูรณ์แบบ 100% ซะทีเดียว หากเราไม่มีการปรับแต่งก่อน บางครั้งภาษาไทยก็จะกลายเป็นเครื่องหมายคำถาม (?????) ในที่นี้ก็จะบอกวิธีการเซ็ตให้ Windows 7 และ Windows Vista สามารถใช้งานกับภาษาไทยได้ 100% ประมาณว่า เพิ่มสัญญาณให้อีก 1 สัญชาติเลยแหละ

1. จากรูปถ้าหากว่ายังไม่ได้กำหนดสัญชาติให้ Windows เป็นคนไทย ภาษาไทยก็จะเป็นอย่างที่เห็น

หากไม่กำหนดสัญชาติไทยไว้ให้ Windows 7 ก็จะอ่านภาษาไทยไม่ออก???

2. วิธีการกำหนดภาษาไทยให้ Windows 7 เริ่มโดยไปที่ Start + Control Panel + Region and Language

ไปที่ Start + Control Panel + Region and Language

3. พอขึ้นกรอบ Region and Language ก็ให้เลือกไปที่แถบ Administrative แล้วก็คลิกที่ปุ่ม Change System Local

ไปที่แถบ Administrative แล้วกดปุ่ม Change System Locale

4. ในช่อง Drop Down ที่เขียนว่า Curren System Locale ให้เลือกเป็น Thai (Thailand) เสร็จแล้วกด OK

เลือก Thai (Thailand) ในช่อง Drop Down List

5. Restart เครื่อง 1 ครั้ง

Restart เครื่อง

6. พอ Restart เสร็จ ก็มาลอง Setup โปรแกรมตะกี๊กันอีกครั้ง คราวนี้ Windows ของผมก็ได้สัญชาติไทยเรียบร้อยแล้ว อ่านออกเขียนได้

ภาษาไทยบน Windows 7 และ Vista ใช้งานได้แล้ว

การใช้งาน Show Desktop บน Windows 7

ปกติแล้ว Windows เวอร์ชั่นเก่า ๆ เช่น Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 หรือแม้แต่ Windows 2008 จะมี Icon Show Desktop ให้ใช้งานอยู่ใน Quick Launch สำหรับ Windows 7 เองก็มีมาให้ เพียงแต่ย้ายตำแหน่งเท่านั้นเอง Microsoft เค้าย้ายไปอยู่ด้านขวาสุดของ Taskbar เลย ใกล้ ๆ กับนาฬิกา

การใช้งานก็เพียงแค่คลิกตรงนั้นแหละครับ ทีนี้โปรแกรมที่เราเปิดอยู่ทั้งหมดก็จะย่อลงมาเก็บ เหลือโชว์แค่หน้าจอ Desktop อย่างเดียว

เล่นซะผมงง เป็นไก่ตาแตกไปหลายวัน หลงผิดนึกว่าเค้าตัด Function นี้ออกไปซะตั้งนาน

Enable คำสั่ง Telnet บน Windows 7 และ Windows Vista

Windows 7 กับ Windows Vista นั้น ได้ปิดคำสั่ง Telnet ไว้โดยเริ่มต้น หากใครไม่ทราบแรก ๆ ก็อาจจะงง ว่าทำไมใช้ไม่ได้ หรือว่า Microsoft ตัดตรงนี้ทิ้งไป จริง ๆ แล้วไม่ใช่ครับ Microsoft เพียงแต่ปิด Feature นี้ไว้เท่านั้น เอาออกมาใช้งานได้ไม่ยาก

1. ใช้งาน Telnet ตอนแรก Windows ก็ฟ้องเลยครับ ว่าใช้งานไม่ได้ ไม่รู้จักคำสั่ง

2. ไปที่ Control Panel เปิด Programs หรือ Programs and Features หากหาไม่เจอให้ปรับหน้าจอให้เป็นแบบ Icons เพื่อให้หาง่าย ๆ หน่อย

3. เสร็จแล้วจะขึ้นกรอบ Uninstall or Change Program ตรงช่องด้านซ้ายให้เลือก Turn Windows features on or off

4. ต่อมาจะขึ้นกรอบ “Windows Features” ให้คลิกเลือกที่ Telnet Client

5. พอกด OK เสร็จแล้วก็รอแป๊บนึงครับ ไม่เกินนาที

6. ลอง Telnet ดูกันอีกครั้ง ทีนี้ก็ใช้ได้แว้วว..

ติดตั้ง SNMP บน Windows 2003

SNMP Service บนวินโดส์ เป็น Service ที่ช่วยให้เราสามารถดู Inventory ในเครื่อง ทั้ง Hardware และ Software ลงลึกไปจนถึงโปรแกรมที่ติดตั้งอยู่ภายในเครื่องด้วยครับ

ผมเองมี Server ที่ต้องดูแลค่อนข้างเยอะ รวมถึง Client เองที่ใช้งาน Windows ทั้งหมดก็ร่วมพัน การที่จะมานั่งเก็บ Inventory ที่ละเครื่องก็แทบจะกระอักเลือด วิธีง่าย ๆ ของผมก็คือติดตั้ง SNMP แล้วก็ใช้โปรแกรมไปดึง Inventory ของเครื่องมาแสดง (โปรแกรมที่ว่านี้มีหลายตัวมาก แต่ขอแนะนำโปรแกรมจากค่าย Manage Engine)

ไปดูขั้นตอนการติดตั้งและปรับแต่ง SNMP Service บน Windows กันดีกว่าครับ

ไปที่ Start | Control Panel | Add Or Remove Programs
เลือก Add/Remove Windows Components
ในหน้าต่าง Windows Components, เลือก Management And Monitoring Tools. (ไม่ควรเลือกทั้งหมดนะครับ เอาเฉพาะที่เราใช้งานเท่านั้นพอ)
ต่อมาก็คลิก Details
เลือก Simple Network Management Protocol
คลิก OK แล้วกลับมาที่หน้า Windows Component
กด Next แล้วก็รอให้ติดตั้งเสร็จ (อาจจะมีการเรียกแผ่น CD Windows 2003)

เท่านี้ก็สามารถใช้งาน SNMP ได้แล้วล่ะครับ โดยส่วนมากแล้วเวลาจะดึง Inventory มานั้น Community String ของ SNMP มักจะตั้งเป็น public | port : 161

ปรับแต่ง SNMP

ไปที่ SNMP Service
ในแถบ Agent จะกำหนดว่าสามารถ Monitor ดูได้ถึงระดับไหน ในตัวอย่างผมเลือกไว้หมด จะสามารถเช็ค Hardware ได้ด้วย
แถบ Security เอาไว้กำหนดค่า Community String โดยค่าเริ่มต้นจะเป็น public เราสามารถเปลี่ยนเป็นอะไรก็ได้ ส่วนกรอบสี่เหลี่ยมด้านล่างก็ไว้ใช้สำหรับกำหนดสิทธิ์เครื่องที่จะสามารถ Access เข้ามาใช้งาน

จบแล้วครับสำหรับ SNMP ก็หวังว่า คงจะช่วยลดงานให้ Admin แต่ละท่านได้บ้างนะครับ

ไม่ได้ออนเอ็มนาน วันนี้มาออนปรากฎว่าโดนบังคับให้ดาวน์โหลดเวอร์ชั่นล่าสุด ไม่งั้นจะไม่สามารถเล่นได้ (ผมใช้เวอร์ชั่น 8.0 อยู่ – -) ที่จริงก็รู้สึกว่าใช้แค่นี้ก็ำพอแล้ว เพราะผมไม่ได้ใช้อะไรเลย นอกจากคุย ๆ ๆ แล้วก็คุย แต่ไหน ๆ ก็โดนบังคับแล้วก็อัพเดตหน่อยก็ได้ (วะ)

แต่บางคนอาจจะไม่ใช้วิธีการ Auto Update เพราะอยากจะเก็บไฟล์ไว้ใช้ติดตั้งครั้งต่อไป พอไปโหลดจากเว็บ Windows Live กลับเจอแต่ตัวที่ต้องต่ออินเตอร์เน็ตด้วย เวลาติดตั้ง ผมเองก็เป็นหนึ่งในนั้นครับ ทำเอาหงุดหงิดพอสมควร หาดาวน์โหลดตัวเต็มจากเว็บในเครื่องของ Microsoft ก็ไม่ได้ สาเหตุเพราะ Microsoft เองไม่ได้ปล่อยลิงค์ของตัวเต็มไว้ให้ดาวน์โหลด

วันนี้ไปเจอลิงค์มา คิดว่าคงจะเป็นประโยชน์กับเพื่อน ๆ บ้างเลยเอามาฝากกันครับ

โดยปกติแล้วเวลาเราเปิดใช้งานโปรแกรมสักโปรแกรมบนวินโดส์ เราก็มักจะคลิกที่ start + programs + …. กันใช่มั้ยครับ แต่สำหรับบางคนที่ขี้เกียจ (เหมือนผม – -) ไม่อยากจะคลิกหลาย ๆ ตลบ วันนี้ผมได้รวบรวมคำสั่งในการเรียกโปรแกรมลัดขึ้นมาสำหรับใช้งานบนวินโดส์ครับ การใช้งานเพียงแค่กด start -> run เมื่อขึ้นหน้าต่างที่ไว้สำหรับพิมพ์คำสั่งก็เพียงแต่ พิมพ์คำสั่งเหล่านี้เข้าไป วินโดว์จะทำการเปิดโปรแกรมเป้าหมายให้เราได้เข้าถึงโดยตรงทันที
